Trip 432: Hiking in Horsh Ehden (Ehden Reserve)


The Footprints Nature Club would like to invite to an amazing hiking trip this Sunday 24 June 2018. We have selected the trail to be in a special region. The trip will be:

Hiking in Horsh Ehden Nature Reserve

We will start at an altitude of 1450 meters, and walk up smoothly to the altitude of 1850 meters. We will then head back to the Reserve from a different path. On our way we will have splendid natural views of Cedars trees, Juniper trees, Fir trees, and lots of other species of plants and animals.

The hike will be of Medium level (6 to 7/10) with an overall distance of around 10 KMs. It shall take around 4 to 5 hours.

Cost Fees

Trip cost 40,000 L.L., includes:

  • Transportation from and back to Beirut
  • Cost of the guides
  • Entrance fees to the Reserve

Gathering Place & Time

Our gathering will be at the traffic lights on the crossroad of the General Security building الأمن العام and El-Mathaf المتحف region in Beirut. You can park in the parking nearby starting 7:00 AM...

We will start on Sunday 24 Jun, 2018 at 07:00 AM.
The bus will move at 07:35 AM.
We will stop for breakfast on the way. We might be obliged to do some modifications to the plans as needed during the trips.
We will finish on Sunday 24 Jun, 2018 at 08:00 PM.

    KNOW YOUR ABILITIES; CHOOSE AN APPROPRIATE HIKE.

    Be a Lightweight

    THE LESS YOU CARRY, THE MORE ENJOYABLE THE HIKE.

    Avoid Huffing and Puffing

    IF YOU CAN TALK WHILE YOU ARE WALKING, YOU ARE WALKING THE PERFECT SPEED.

    Take a Break

    TAKE A TEN MINUTE BREAK AT LEAST ONCE EVERY HOUR.

  • 05

    No Food, No Fuel, No Fun

    DRINK FREQUENTLY AND EAT OFTEN.
