Trip 493: Hiking in Arz Qobayyat


The Footprints Nature Club would like to invite you to a splendid trip in the North this Sunday 15 September 2019, which will be:
 
Hiking in Qobayyat Cedars - North Lebanon
 
In the Cedars Forest of Qobayyat, we will pass through some natural springs (probably dried in this season), and another very old church before reaching Mar Shallita. We will start at around 1400 meters altitude down to around 700 meters.
 
The trail will be around 12 KMs, of medium difficulty (6 to 7/10) and shall take around 5 hours
 
Splendid sceneries will be on our trail. Just enjoy the photos on our website to know more about what we are talking about.

مشي في الطبيعة في منطقة أرز القبيات
 
رحلتنا ستكون في غابة أرز القبيات ذات المناخ والطبيعة الرائعة. مستوى الرحلة سيكون مستوى متوسط: حوالي 12 كلم، وبوقت حوالي الأربع إلى خمس ساعات.

Cost Fees

Trip cost 35,000 L.L., includes:

  • Transportation from and back to Beirut
  • Cost of the guides

Gathering Place & Time

Our gathering will be at the traffic lights on the crossroad of the General Security building الأمن العام and El-Mathaf المتحف region in Beirut. You can park in the parking nearby starting 7:00 AM...

We will start on Sunday 15 Sep, 2019 at 07:00 AM.
The bus will move at 07:35 AM.
We will stop for breakfast on the way. We might be obliged to do some modifications to the plans as needed during the trips.
We will finish on Sunday 15 Sep, 2019 at 08:00 PM.

    THE LESS YOU CARRY, THE MORE ENJOYABLE THE HIKE.

    IF YOU CAN TALK WHILE YOU ARE WALKING, YOU ARE WALKING THE PERFECT SPEED.

    Take a Break

    TAKE A TEN MINUTE BREAK AT LEAST ONCE EVERY HOUR.

    No Food, No Fuel, No Fun

    DRINK FREQUENTLY AND EAT OFTEN.
